The AFF is an independent voice for Service personnel and families. We work to improve your quality of life, wherever you are in the world and we offer confidential advice. Our specialists deal with housing, education and childcare, health and additional needs, money matters, foreign and commonwealth and family life. But we will help with any issue you have – as a single serving person or Army family member.
We are independent of the Army but work with the chain of command and other agencies at national and local level, and we act as a signposting service to help you find the right person to speak to, as well as providing useful information for Army families through aff.org.uk and our magazine, Army&You.
At a strategic level we work with senior chain of command and Government, to inform them what families are concerned about, backed by your evidence.
