An update on the Long Term Relationships Established (LTR (E)) pilot: British Forces Cyprus (BFC) was identified as one of the overseas LTR (E) pilot sites by the MoD. The pilot started from 22 Jan 24 and was expected to end on 31 Mar 25. However, in the recent announcement, the pilot has been extended to 31 Mar 2027. The LTR (E) pilot grants entitlement to Service Families Accommodation (SFA) alongside an increased allowances package to eligible service personnel. The eligibility criteria and application process along with the other pertinent details can be found in the Accompanied Established LTR (E ) Overseas Pilot DIN dated 21 Jan 24, via MODNET.
Rooms are furnished with a double bed, fitted wardrobes, a desk, chair, cabinet, chest of drawers, bedside table.
Additionally the rooms are en-suite with toilet, sink, mirror, wooden bench, heated towel rail and shower, as well as an additional storage room with shelving unit.
SFA for Other Ranks will vary in size and layout depending on which street you are accommodated on, ranging from 2-bedroom to 4 bedroom properties, images and floorplans of which can be found below:
