Alongside the Contractor businesses below, there a several private businesses run by family members across the Station, such as hair and beauty services, special occasion cakes, dog walkers/pet sitters, babysitters/childminders etc. A list of businesses can be found on the Residents page (Facebook), which you will have access to once you move to Cyprus.

Shopping/Food & Drink
Forces Store
Open 7 days a week to provide you with the widest range of UK goods on the island as well as a great selection of Cypriot groceries and fresh foods.

Thrift Shop
Volunteer run shop where you can take old clothing and household items to sell. Located next to the HIVE.
The shop only accepts certain items at certain times of the year, check their Facebook page for more information and updates on opening times.

CESSAC Shop & Cafe
Operated by CESSAC, providing freshly prepared meals, breakfasts, homemade sweet and savoury snacks and hot and cold drinks. Additionally the shop sells a range of products from newspapers, books and magazines to toys, gifts and stationery.

Chelona
Operated by Sodexo, formerly known as ‘The Watering Hole’ is currently being refurbished.
The new venue will feature a new food menu, Costa Cofffee and a childrens play area.

Amenities
Post Office
Located in the Amenities centre offering postage services and chip and pin for money deposits (you will be required to show your ration card, £250 each day but no more than £1,000 per month can be deposited).

BFBS
Located in the Amenities Centre. All personnel and their families are entitled to a BFBS Package (Free UK TV).
You can sign for the BFBS Set Top Box from the Station BFBS Representative.

Providing a familiar cinema experience, showing the latest films, with the option to purchase snacks and drinks before the showing.

Volunteer run sessions offering support to families with children aged 0-5.

Sports Amenities
Lions Gym
A fully equipped gym with sports pitches and running track located behind the gym.
Access:
- Free for SP (need to get an access code free from PTI)
- €10 for Family Members (cost for a FOB). Family Members will require 3rd party liability insurance to use gymnasiums (provider details, policy no, policy start and end dates required for the induction)

Swimming Pool
Outdoor pool that opens throughout the summer (May – Oct), operating sessions from swimming lessons to inflatable fun the pool is available to book for private parties.

Watersports Centre
Offering a range of watersports the centre has power boats, inflatables, paddle boards and much more, offering courses and lessons in most activities.
The centre is situated on Alexander Barracks and the code for the gate changes monthly, just ask at the barracks entrance.
There is also a bar available serving soft and alcoholic drinks.
