Whether you are coming out as an individual and occupying Single Living Accommodation (SLA) or bringing family members and pets to occupy Service Family Accommodation (SFA), this page will cover everything you will need to know about what you can expect. SLA

Rooms are furnished with a double bed, fitted wardrobes, a desk, chair, cabinet, chest of drawers, bedside table.

Additionally the rooms are en-suite with toilet, sink, mirror, wooden bench, heated towel rail and shower, as well as an additional storage room with shelving unit.

SFA – ORs

SFA for Other Ranks will vary in size and layout depending on which street you are accommodated on, ranging from 2-bedroom to 4 bedroom properties, images and floorplans of which can be found below:

2 Bedroom Properties
Type B – Grade J/K (Albion Street, Barnet Road)

Semi-detached 2-storey building originally constructed in the 1960s, a notable feature of these properties is their large garden areas.

Type B – Grade J/K (Philip Road)

Semi-detached, 2-storey building originally constructed in the 1970s, these properties also come with large garden spaces.

3 Bedroom Properties
Type C – Grade J/K (Albion Street, Barnet Road)

Semi-detached 2-storey building built in the 1960s, these properties have large gardens, 2 large bedrooms with a 3rd smaller bedroom.

Type C – Grade J/K (Phillip Road)

Semi-detached 2-storey buildings, built in the 1970s with large gardens, two large bedrooms with a third smaller bedroom.

Type C – Grade E (Windsor Way)

These are the newest properties at Akrotiri, semi-detached with an attached garage, and fully tiled floors.

Type C – Grade E (2-Storey)

The most commonly available 3-bedroom property at Akrotiri, these are similar in construction to the Windsor Way properties, with a slightly different Utility area. Most properties have carpeted floors but some are fully-tiled.

Type C – Grade E (Bungalow)

These are also quite common properties, being found on several streets, cul-de-sacs and closes. They feature attached garages and the floors are a mixture of carpet and tiling.

Type C – Grade I (Eldorado)

Properties built in the 1980s, these mostly feature gardens which push up to the boundary by the perimiter fence of RAF Akrotiri.

Type C – Grade I (Porticode)

These are reasonably new-builds being constructed in the 2000s, they are semi-detached properties which have detached garages, driveways and a covered area to the rear.

4 Bedroom Properties
Type D – Grade E (Windsor Way)

These properties are among the newest on the station, they are semi-detached properties with attached garages.

Type D – Grade E (2-Storey)

A slight variation on the modern construction buildings found on Windsor Way, some properties have fully tiled floors while others are partially carpeted and they come with attached garages.

Type D – Grade E (Bungalow)

The most widely available 4-bedroom properties, these can be found across the Estate, they are mostly carpeted and have an attached garage.

Type D – Grade I (Porticode)

Constructed in the 2000s, these properties are semi-detached, come with significant rear garden space with a covered area and a detached garage.

SFA – OFs
